Women are angels... wait no.. women have wings... it's a passion play

Man, I just saw this movie and I've got to tell you about it. You must all know the dozens and dozens of photos of women with wings that stand in the rain...in the storm...in the desert...or whatever. Well it's a known symbol exploited nowadays without scrupulous or even any kind of conceptual basis. Women with wings rulzz and that's final. Actually it was Hollywood that gave many photographers "wings" and was acting like a photographer's muse for much too long. And we've seen a lot of photos/interpretations of the elephant man, Joker, black swan, superman, etc. Of course the woman with wings was not "invented" by some sharp shooters but just to seize the pleonasm, now it's Hollywood that gets all aroused by this idea mirrored and clicheed already.

So, hold on to your seats, here comes the good part, man you've got to see this movie... aaa...where was I ?! .... aaa...I'm at home ... A! ok...I was saying... it's just epic, awesome ... the film, right ?!

There's this guy that I knew he died from the beginning (just to set this straight) and apparently he got away and met this woman with wings...yeah ok...we've seen women with beards .... cut in half ... prostituting on TV .... photoshop or some handy entrepreneur can figure something out. But no, this one really has them stuck on her back. We can swallow this ...we've watched Avatar and shit. Ok, so she does have wings , now what ? Let's take pictures of her and figure out a way of taking advantage of her freakness. So we did, and where did this take us? Broke, beaten, drowned in booze and most unfortunate ... desperately in love with the winged beautiful creature. Damn with the angels proximity mumbling bumbling. They are here and one can touch them...even have sex with them.

Anyways, after a few tens of minutes of 2010-2011 bad movie, you know what she did? So, let me remind you and please take notes like Harvey Keitel in Pulp Fiction... we have one woman ... having wings ..ah ok...bat man, cat woman ... no, real wings with real feathers grown from her back ( I know what you're thinking ... special clothes must have cost her a fortune) being used as a private angel or a freak show. Ok, noted! Bro, she flies away under the mafia nose caring also our dear friend 140 kg Mickey (big applause for The Wrestler). Oh, man that's just glorious and awesomely epic. And now in the woman with wings/angel/bird's view you can see that he was dead in the first place (I figure that out from the start...told you so). So why all that fuss ? It's just like when Bobby Ewing died in Pamela's dream. Well, my credits go to the writer's clarity. Maybe you've never fainted or died before but in that split second you have the longest dream ever and if you happen to run into Megan Fox ... with wings or whatever she wears ... all for the better.

I can already see the web filled with winged women again. Just hope they launch a plug-in warning about the circular reference.

Mi-a fost dat sa asist la un eveniment destul de rar. Ceremonia de incinerare este un lucru des intalnit in Bali insa una regala banuiesc ca nu se intampla prea des. Vorba aia nu mor regii cand vor turistii ... parca asa era ... Ar fi extrem de multe de zis despre hinduismul Balinez impletit cu credinte ancestrale animiste care se mai strecoara printre cohortele de zei hindusi, despre sistemul de caste inca pastrat desi mult mai "dulce" decat cel Indian, despre multitudinea de obiceiuri, datini, superstitii, comitete si comitii uneori hilare , insa cum nu sunt vreun scriitor ii voi lasa pe cei interesati sa studieze din multele surse existente pe web.

Se spune ca balinezii intra deseori intr-o stare de transa/visare chiar si in timpul unei convorbiri. Pot sa confirm pentru ca am asistat la asa ceva. E un moment de detasare lumeasca care poate vine sa justifice existenta unei stari superiore de spirit sau chiar a supraomenescului.

On the other hand it's an amazing city...hard to say if it's beautiful or not it's just hugely and outrageously different. I think the most mind blowing thing is that although being systematized some two centuries ago, the city is still highly functional considering the exponential technology evolution that took place in the 20th century. That's just awesome man!

Megalomaniac (maybe it's too tough but that's how it should had been "seen" by europeans at that time) structures built in the 19th century as the Brooklyn Bridge or early 20th century buildings as the Flatiron building (1911 I think) or the Empire State Building (1931 I can bet on that) which has been built in a year only...that is also NY.

It struck me that it's not the romanians who do reality movies..(we are too keen on nostalgia and "vintage") ... truth really is that US movies contain let's say less fiction than the nyc reality ... the action, the comedy, the science fiction and the trill are all rapped up in the big rotten apple (disclaimer: there's no drift in regard of Apple god praise it's name;-)

People are loners enclosed in their glass spheres covered by the vivid commercials and the new yorker's cult (i. e. it's huge to be an american but being a new yorker it's the cherry on top of the rock), in a place more crowded than a sardine can.

Manhattan is a filthy gorgeous devilish place where the angels come to party...everything is huge compared to Europe... cars, buildings, people and even fruits (pe principiul "dar asta ce e?" ... " mazare mah, mazare mazare" pt cine stie bancul si cu ocazia asta poate vor ajunge la mine si cei ce-l cauta pe brazilianul primar al Constantei)

Hai ca pun si poze gata ca am ars-o destul aiurea...

To live... and the life that comes with it....such a real thing and yet so abstract or should I say evanescent...?
So...how do you cope with it...with the lack of life ... do you acknowledge it right on the spot...do you feel the empty spot right away?...oh no you don't ...you get fed up with a bunch of yada yada for a while, from a bunch of old ladies that always know "best" and you get by...for a while....maybe those eastern christian rituals are good for something...

Yeah... long time no see...

Hmm, vad ca acum vreo 2 luni (la ultimul post) ma omora timpul....intre timp timpul a reusit...

Dar cu o ultima suflare digitala mai postez cateva noutati in concordanta cu nota timpului sau a timpurilor...

Tot film, tot ILFORD 400, tot plasticul de 28-80...pana imi rup de la inima sa-mi iau un 50 1,8 sa mai investesc si pe Canon nu?

Ma gandesc de ce am ales filmul asta...de snob poate... nu ca as fi nemultumit de el desi cred ca performantele lui le depasesc pe cele ale Canon-ului 3000N, de fapt ale obiectivului....

Oricum iar n-am prea avut timp (asta ma omoara) sa gasec niste subiecte vrednice insa ca experiment cred ca e destul de bine...

Am selectat cateva cadre pentru cine mai intra pe aici....

Microbul filmului

Acum ca m-a prins microbul, am inceput sa merg in paralel si pe drumul filmului... Recunosc ca filmul alb-negru are un farmec aparte la prima vedere aproape indiferent de valoarea cadrului...Asadar, am mai achizitionat un aparat pe film de la un prieten, un SLR Canon 3000N simplu si usor de folosit, ceva mai automatizat care sa-mi mai usureze sarcinile si sa aiba o rata mai mare de succes. Pe Beltica mi-au iesit din 2 filme 20 de poze, iar pe asta 37/37. In fine cam sub-expuse ca nu stiam cum se comporta, de acum voi compensa un pic expunerea...sincer nu ma gandeam ca e nevoie la Fujifilm NEOPAN 1600 ISO. Acum am luat un Ilford Delta 400 si de abia astept sa-l termin... Experienta cu filmul zic eu ca ajuta, intru-cat declansez mult mai rar, doar cand am impresia ca merita si devin astfel mai selectiv, sper.

Revenind la developare si scanare am mers cu NEOPAN-ul la FotoProfessional de langa Cocor, nu de alta dar nu prea ai de ales ca e alb-negru, developare manuala si nu ti-l face nicaieri manual. Placut laboratorul, au si un mic studio...par niste oameni pasionati si cu spirit de raspundere. Singura problema a fost durata...m-au sunat la vreo 2 saptamani dupa ce l-am dus. Deh, normal, daca sunt aproape singurii care fac asa ceva. Scan-ul multumitor....fara zgarieturi, scame si altele...

Postez cateva din rezultate extrem de putin ajustate in PS, unele de loc....

Developare si scanare

Ah, sa nu uit, developarea si scanarea am facut-o la un centru de la coloane - Romana (fara sa stiu ce ma asteapta) unde personalul "front-desk" este foarte amabil insa developarea si in special scanarea sub orice critica...zgarieturi, scame...tot tacamu'. N-au auzit de ICE sau chiar daca da, nu au asa ceva, solutiile probabil ca se schimba de 5 ori mai rar decat ar trebui, etc.

As putea totusi sa recomand un laborator foto (din proprie experienta) insa numai celor care o fac pentru amorul artei ca mine si nu au deadline-uri de respectat, pentru ca acolo se lucreaza manual, sunt multe comenzi si in consecinta destul de mult de asteptat (in jur de 7 zile). Voi reveni cu detalii.

Balda Beltica 1951

De mult eram curios cum mi-ar iesi niste poze facute pe film cu tehnica pura ... adica fara niciun ajutor "digital". Prin 2007 am achizitionat un aparat foto din Bulgaria - Nessebar, dupa indelungi negocieri, de la un vanzator de antichitati. Aparatul e un Balda-Beltica de prin 1950 si ceva iar setarile sunt bineinteles in totalitate manuale. O vreme nu m-am atins de el dupa care am zis sa incerc sa fac niste poze cu ajutorul digitalului. Adica mai mare deranjul.... pe Beltica e un Zeiss de 50 mm si ca atare stai si seteaza focala obiectivului de pe digital la 50/1.5, vezi ce distanta iti calculeaza (asta daca ai scala de distante pe el ca pe 18-135 n-ai sa gasesti) si in sfarsit reprodu diafragma si tp de expunere pe analogul german (care nu suporta timpi mai scurti de 1/200 ca deh! tehnica nu prea permitea, s.a.m.d.). Rezultatele...hmmm...deplorabile....defocalizate, sub sau supra-expuse etc. Cred ca doar vreo 2-3 poze pot sa zic ca erau cat de cat decente.

De curand am primit un exponometru ...tot un vintage nemtesc de prin aceeasi perioada cu care in sfarsit mi-a reusit cate ceva. Nimic spectaculos desigur, insa mai pun si eu cate ceva pe blog.

Revenirea la valorile de baza si patrunderea lor dincolo de superficial este, cred eu, inceputul reconstructiei societatii noastre, fundatia mentalitatii acum uitate si distorsionate in cele mai grotesti plasmuiri onirice....pentru ca...toate femeili din lume stie ca ... somnul "natiunii" naste monstrii....

Va invit sa va reincarcati cu seva autentica si nealterata in speranta ca incet-incet vom putea visa mai frumos...

Aglomeratia urbana, regasita in mai toate orasele medievale ale Europei, este un semn de bunastare si istorie glorioasa. Nu vreau sa intru in detalii de istorie a Bohemiei sau a cetatii Praga - internetul, in ultima instanta, ofera tone de informatii doritorilor - insa orase mustind de arhitectura, arta si bun gust (toate acestea intr-un cadru aglomerat dar bine organizat, gandit si intretinut) poti vedea aproape la orice pas, odata iesit de pe plaiurile "mioritice".
Marele "sut in fund" l-am luat insa in Bratislava pe care in "naivitatea" si ignoranta mea o credeam-"speram" mai aproape, daca nu poate chiar inferioara Bucurestiului ... aiurea, orasul e cat se poate de curat, cochet si bine sistematizat.
Si , amintindu-ne de vechea zicala "un sut in fund e un pas inainte" si de nenumaratele suturi de acest gen pe care ni le-am luat cu totii, cred ca ne putem bucura acum de o pozitionare in fruntea "listei" cat si de un posterior aplatizat si inrosit precum acoperisurile pragheze...

Te-am visat intr-o mansarda pe Calea Victoriei, dormeai, si ochii tai erau deschisi, priveau spre cer, apoi ma priveau pe mine, eu dormeam langa umarul tau, ochii mei erau tot deschisi, se uitau la tine in suflet.

Ne-au trezit doua vrabii, eu ti-am sarutat mainile lungi, foarte lungi, subtiri ca o panza de paianjen, care imi mangaiau genele. Trezit din somn, ti-ai inchis ochii si ti-ai aprins o tigara, cearsafurile au fosnit, vrabiile au tacut, ne-a cuprins tristetea ca ne treziseram, eu ma incalzeam la sangele tau care ardea, innebunit de dragoste.
